balanced

Every once and awhile life comes into balance. The last couple days have been one of those phases.

My house feels organized and streamlined. Discipline seems to be working and fruitful. Playtime & less TV is working...food intake is balanced. There seems to be more joy and happiness around here. Spending is down, two kids is feeling normal. God time is alive...ahhhh....

Story #1 - Z was playing with his boy parts...which we have finally been calling by their proper names. So I asked him what he was doing when I noticed his little hands fiddling with his "boy" part.
"Mommy, my penis is singing"!
"What? What did you say?" I asked.
He replied with what I thought I had heard. "Oh..."
And with excited jumping Z adds, "look mommy, my penis is dancing"!

Story #2 - We're driving home and Z was munching on some hickory sticks chips. Z states from his car seat "mommy, I'm eating Jesus' chips"!
Again I ask him again, not sure that I'm hearing correctly. Then I ask, "why are they Jesus' chips"?
Z proceeds to take two sticks out the bag and shape them into a cross, "see mommy a cross"!
Well go figure :)

Time lapse & Inspired

I had started another post about two weeks ago and somehow it disappeared!

I got hooked by pinterest! I wish I had thought of this fabulous idea! All these years of saving images and adding bookmarks to the browser! Just loving how now I can pin up all my ideas and continue to be inspired!

I now have a 3 year old and a 3 month old! Wow! Friday night I ran some errands and saw myself 10-15 years ago. It was so strange and I felt like telling them "hey, this is your future"! LOL!

I would never have imagined being here in this life! I love it! I was thinking of how at that point in life, 10-15 years ago, how you live with such expectancy! You're waiting for, looking forward to being married, having a family, "settling down". I like feeling "settled"! There is a peace in that word.

And so I've been excited by my family, my husband, my two boys and yes, pinterest! To use and develop my gifts. To be a mom that shows love and raises men that love the Lord! I've been seeing other mom's my age pursuing their passions and feel excited to explore, learn, and use mine! However that may manifest!
